Credit matters are rather foggy, there are a few areas where a FC is forgiven (allowed or accepted) but in reality, the lender making the loan agrees to buy back loans that don't fit guidelines so making exceptions is tricky for any lender in secondary market products.

@James Wise is right, the idea of a living wage runs counter to a society where the mantra is more for less.In theory, a higher minimum wage leads to more money in circulation, but reality, in the context of North American society, would more likely be displacement of more jobs offshore.
