Usually I do granite in a flip (especially if new cabinets are in order) with under mount sinks.

I will definitely ask the housing rep about them pressuring the tenant to fix the items first.

A lot of local residents are starting to organize themselves because of these types of reasons and they are putting pressure on the town to crack down on people that don't get permitted...also noise problems because out of town owners don't monitor what's going on at their properties.

I've done the prelim 50 hours of research into both STR requirements and general market insights, and it seems like N Charleston, Hanahan and Mount Pleasant will work for OOS investors that aren't looking to have an SC driver's license.

To be honest the program is pretty top notch and I really never felt pressured to buy anything.  

They might require a minimal annual fee but there won't be any pressure to close a property.

Then my wife @Brittany Bento-Tibbs applied pressure.

Either way, I'm feeling the pressure.

Don't feel pressured to move forward if it's not in your best interest. 

I've had most success with short term rentals in the smaller submarkets such as Belmont, Mount Holly, Gastonia, Statesville, and Monroe.
