This means that you will probably need to pay registration and filing fees in at least 2 states if you don’t buy CA property as a CA resident.Any lawsuits should be limited to the assets of the LLC and not your personal assets (assuming you run the LLC appropriately and the corporate veil is not pierced, some debate as to SMLLC).

Okay, cool, I thought.There were multiple attempts to collect information about me before the calls, and when I asked the person on the call to tell me about the program from the start (Hey, that's why you said to book it), I was told "That's not how this works -- you tell us about yourself for the first 1/2 hour, and then we talk about the program."

I understand I dont necceasily need a LLC to get a rental property however since I am a business owner I know there are some benifits like not having it under my personal name and protecting myslef in case of an accident in the rental property, however im not sure if this whole rental idea should be on a whole new LLC as well and not on my small business LLC.
