Just make sure you don't get that far.My advice would be to just get the sink repaired then send them a letter with the deductions for the sink/cabinet repair and moving their junk with a check for the remainder.

Perhaps the advantageous tax deductions of real estate enable you to show a low enough income to qualify for an attractive tax credit and, thus, low net premium cost.

I loaned my friend some tools and my van, to do the home repairs in prep for house on the market (friend lives in PA -and I offered this)Unfortunately, the van got broken into - vandalized :)He had a high deductible so paid some cash and offered for me to take the boat instead of some random tow truck company.

If Im not mistaken, the IRS allows for absolutely zero deductions of any kind on businesses that operate in violation of federal law, eg, canabis.

Hmm, I always thought that owners who are selling FSBO should not need a license; that wording in the OP sure makes it seem like that would be eligible for a complaint to be filed.

Check with your accountant as well to see what expenses you can still legally deduct if you are partially occupying the property.
