Thank you for the feed back, I think emotions were clouding my judgment.

In my opinion it is often the result of hype from folks selling stuff at REIA meetings who know how to emotionally make us feel and believe that we will soon have an empire of properties or several more assets to protect - which of course we all think we will, right?  

But as you dig deeper....One may have sterling financials, strong management, active maintenance, and great reserves, along with mellow politics and an accepting view of investors (no restrictions on non-owner occupieds, with a fair ratio of owners to renters to preserve all financing options)..
