The way you opened the topic left me thinking that you're asking a moral/ethical question, like "how do investors sleep at night?".

Because BiggerPockets, and by that I mean @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner have morals and standards.

I don't believe that people should default on debt, and it should be viewed as a moral obligation as well as a legal obligation in my opinion.

Now, if you told me they all decided to move to Scranton, PA... well that's suddenly a like 1.6% boost in the population for that town... which is a much bigger deal... so I guess to answer your OP question...
