I am in the market for my first short-term rental and I am looking in the Orlando Disney Area, specifically Championsgate, Windsor at Westside, and Storey Lake.  

They are out of Munster but manage all over Lake county.

My Wife's family has an old (in need of a lot of work) cabin on Houghton Lake that we've been thinking about Airbnb'ing.

I think this depends on what class of neighborhood your property is in.College students, yes I can see your point.Class C or maybe B neighborhoods, have it nice when they move in, after that you aren't going to be able to charge for professional landscaping and it isn't going to get you more rent.Class A neighborhood, these tenants can afford to hire professional landscapers themselves.I don't want to have a landscaper on payroll and run the risk that they could claim I am their employer.I mow the grass myself at my VRBO lake house as I want to check on the property regularly anyway and can just jump on my riding mower to cut the crass and touch it up with a weed eater.

They were going to achieve financial freedom, they were going to get what the speaker had, the boat on the lake.

I looked at comparables for lake lots in the area.

There's tons of lakes, and therefore lake houses that do very well with short term rentals.

The fifth property is a lake house in Aldrich, MO.

Anyone in Salt Lake County have any experience in these type of rental markets?

Hi anyone  Airbnb properties in Clear Lake   If so is your unit consistently booked or is more just weekend bookings?
