If you don't want to do what they hired you to do, find a retired broker that still has their license and see if you can hang your license with them, then pay what it costs for them to join the Board and MLS.

If you are thinking weekends, then, yes, close to a BART line to make it easy for East Bayers to join as well would be great.

Brand new here, and I don't have a specific timeline or plan for seeking financing - could be first home purchase of SF or MF, and I also have a business for which I might want to get a line of credit at some point - but in the meantime I thought it might be a good idea to join a local credit union to facilitate future plans if folks here have any that they strongly recommend.

I joined Bigger Pockets because I am personally interested in real estate investing, and I also want to learn how I can better serve the needs of my real estate investor clients.
