I have my eye on several ugly, dirty, beaten-down houses (some vacant) that are not officially for sale, but I seem to be stuck as to what my initial contact with the owners should be.On past houses, I've mailed the owners a letter saying that I was interested in purchasing their house, but any time I'd get a response they'd ask, "How much are you gonna pay me for my house?"

I would get myfax.com as your fax number, because you can send and receive faxes through email, even if it means making another automatic payment very month, which doesn't take any time anyway.

Anytime you see a great need for a service, especially a medically oriented type service, that is not being met in a community and that such a service is a profitable or very profitable enterprise, that tells be one thing quickly....that government has shut the doors on entering that market or that it is very expensive to enter that market (business).
