But there might also be a good reason for it that they can explain.Some other things that might apply to your deal as you head towards closing:- Typically there's some kind of review of the preliminary title report (to show any encroachments, liens on the property that will be paid off by escrow at closing, any covenants/codes/restrictions that are recorded on the property, etc.)

I looked at houses / townhouses similar in size and amenities.I sent the addresses / listing to housing for them to review and wrote up a justification why those unit were the appropriate comp. vs. the comps they wanted to use.

Review your lease from 5 years ago, make sure it states: no sub-leasing and noone should occupy dwelling who isn't on the lease without notifying landlord.
