Anybody investing in Southern California?

Fast forward to today, we’re looking to buy our own home again in Southern California, while at the same time, I’d like to keep increasing my portfolio in that same FL town our current rental is in. 

Southern California RE investor trying to build up my portfolio.

My PM has several investors from Israel or Thailand who got talked into buying a $5,000 property for $50,000.

Want to focus on a particular area, southern Ohio is at the top of my list right now, so I can develop a core group of contacts who are local and can be the boots on the ground.

Short term rentals should perform better than mid term and long term rentals.Consider exchanging into 2 duplexes,4-5 beds,4 baths in each unit costing around $550k for each duplex.( $200k down on each) If used for STVR, in the right southern coastal location or outskirts of Nashville, you should be able to earn at least 20% ROI,ConC return. 

The market in southern maine and maybe the state as a whole is rapidly changing for your target customer.

It is more affordable then some southern cities and it has lots to offer, but there is also plenty of cons.

I also know a few investors who focus on the southern part of the state, Janesville and Beloit area.

There a re a decent amount of emerging neighborhoods around them like Southern Orchards, Old Oaks and Olde Towne East.
