I've only had a few evictions from tenants I placed and that was earlier on in my R.E. career.I have one inherited tenant I've sued three times over the past year.

So far I would say it has been a good investment but I don't really know how big I can scale it or how long it will take.At the same time, if there's a big investor looking for someone to help manage their portfolio in NYC or Long Island I would be open to jump on board so I can learn as well.

They may not want to waste their time with a newbie...

I am an investor based in Fairfield County, CT and just rejoined BP after many years away.From 2005-2011, I got up to ~150 units in SF & MF both rehab & new construction, Class B & C, but (regrettably) sold all to focus on institutional real estate and private equity.Since selling off, I got an MS degree in real estate and participated in most asset classes institutionally ($10-250mm+) with a focus on SF & MF.

Vrbo was not asking the hosts to opt in, just telling them they are doing it, and making them take the time to opt out. 

This is an exciting start of life-long journey I'm pursuing in real estate.

You will have to spend considerable time and energy getting familiar with a new market whereas if you stick with the original one you appear to have enough capital to get started right away on a new building.

Then when it comes time to legalize, looking to get everything approved at once, with the data point that it was built to code in the past.
