If the property manager gives access to someone that does not have the authority bestowed by the probate court to act on the estate’s behalf, another person claiming interest in the deceased resident’s personal property can appear later and file a huge lawsuit against the property manager, the property management company and the owner of the property.

This is one of the best ways to combat a discrimination lawsuit - if you can prove you hold everyone to the same standard and the standard is written down.
