Highly recommend. 1) you get to learn the community you want to invest in (which is important bc unless you want to buy in a D neighborhood, you learn where to go find deals). 2) you get the chance to see the property firsthand, realtor/zillow/redfin are cool, but there's nothing like getting eyes on the property and even seeing the street traffic/neighbors. 3) you get the chance to speak with he owner, which is prob the most important thing.
