I am putting money in gold/silver (I'm not a gold bug, I don't think it's always good to buy, and it's certainly not a way to get rich, just a way to hedge against economic downturns, as it tends to go up when other markest go down), and rentals, as people still rent during down economies (though you have to account for increased evictions).

you should have the title search done before you buy it, to make sure you you are not stepping into a land mine. generally there is a redemption period after you buy it, during that time period, nobody in their right mind will buy it from you, because the previous owners can in theory come and buy it back from you for what you paid.

Hi everyone,A friend of mine who currently owns a 1 story home is looking to add a 2nd story to the existing home and is looking for a GC that she can consult with in regards to that.

Even investors I know personally or friends of mine that are looking for houses to call home or to invest in they are being out bid by thousands of dollars.
