Been listening to BP podcast and watching a bunch of real estate videos in YouTube trying to educate myself.

What are some books, podcasts, websites, or YouTube channels you guys would suggest for a beginner in business?

I love real estate, I love learning or watching youtube/tv show about real estate.

I use all my free time to educate myself in real estate (analyzing deals, reading books, listening to podcasts, watching youtube videos, etc), in fact another goal of mine is to read 52 books this year to further expand my knowledge!

To make a long story short, I fell out of interest with real estate, and recently my interest has been renewed with a burning passion.Currently, my New Year's Resolution is to watch 300 hours' worth of REI content on YouTube.

so i have read Alex Felice's article about how to work with lenders,https://www.biggerpockets.com/blog/work-with-lenders-brrrr-methodand contrary to what i have read on the forums and seen on YouTube, he doesn't mention anything about applying a GC's scope of work and quotes to your lender before closing in order to add it to the purchase price, he simply adds it as a "settlement charges to buyer" and collect it back at closing.looks pretty simple and convenient, is this really how it works?
