I've come across many posts on the forums with people having success locally in Oakland.Go to meetups and network with people on the forums.

You have to be really careful looking in areas you aren't familiar in because there are SO many variables that go into what makes a property successful.

I’ve done some flips all to success but not my every day stock in trade.

I want to build something that my children can be a part of as they get older and can be passed down to them.I am interested in networking with local realtors, lenders, contractors, attorneys, property managers and anyone else who can help me build a successful real estate business and in turn I help them as well.Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Options we see:1) Make ADU or house out of workshop, move out, rent both.2) Subdivide, find Builder/Partner, Build one, payoff house, finance 3 based on one success.

Do I need to just keep plugging along and success will come or adjust my settings?
