When most of the Short Sales are bought and Short Sale inventory goes down the Well Financed Investor Companies will be the ones offering the 10% EMD's in order to profit off of the remaining inventory.After all, why not pay the EMD when you are going to make a profit of 10K or whatever your criteria is.

maybe they are paid out if there's any profit remaining. but to stick a bank/investor for some parent that can't pay $25k, well, if that were the case, banks would be out of business. :)

Another thought,,,IF any of that tile is the old 1 foot square stuff on a concrete floor dry ice will pop it loose the quickest,,,,then use glue remover on the remaining glue.

I may or may not do this right away, I don't want to act like I'm intruding on her, I don't get the vibe that she's doing anything wrong, I think since it's her first time renting, she may have been scared of a new landlord possibly thinking she would be asked to leave or rent raised but I re-assured her that the terms of her lease will remain in full effect.
