Brokers come into play when your situation is non cookie cutter (which most borrowers are) and you need someone to navigate the hoops and find creative solutions

In today market, sadly, LPs need to be more educated than the GPs since most GPs have only been doing this for a few years so chances are they don't know much more than you, but they put on a good show.

Navigating STR insurance is still the Wild West a bit.Proper is known to be the most comprehensive, however they were also double the price at about $2200/year, when other quotes were in the $900-1200 range.
