I like areas like Pelham Bay, Throggs Neck, Morris Park, Pelham Gardens, Parkchester, and some areas in Soundview.

Over time I've fixed it up and even put in a few high-end finishes that I got on 90% clearance day at Home Depot.....and it's paid off.

The doors at Home Depot are pretty reasonable.  

I was thinking about signing up for the Home Depot Commerical Credit card.

I use the preassembled cabinets from Home Depot or Lowe's.Soft close hinges are a bad idea as they need to be adjusted and tenants will not treat them kindly imo
