I totally missed the following part of your original post; I went through proper proceedings and had him evictedI originally thought you had just done "constructive eviction" by changing the locks.

We're just not totally interested in managing property just quite yet.I've now read a few books on both general property management and flipping, and feel like I have about as much knowledge as anyone can possibly have, without any experience (which I totally understand, really isn't that much..)

The total project development cost is $6.8M, $1.2M for the land purchase and $5.6M for the horizontal and vertical development.

Those two properties are in foreclosure and the poor guy is totally screwed.I hate these kind of people.
