My thought on it is everyone is different, some people in the winter time chop a hole in the ice take off all their clothes and jump in the ice water.

@Alton Pettit just a thought, have you considered allocating some of that capital aside to become a private lender?

A few thoughts that I hope are helpful.  1. 

For accounting, I use Rentec Direct, which allows me to keep track of all expenses and then prepare reports for all of my properties.The information the system exports seems like it is most of what is needed to prepare taxes.
