I am a bit overwhelmed/lost on what I should do and what makes more sense right now given my financial responsibilities. 

I usually end up just saying I do taxes otherwise they just get really confused and keep asking tax questions anyways.This response certainly helps and I will see if I can find a real estate specific tax professional.

One of the thing he asked was "how much did I bought the property for" to which my response was how is that information relevant to whether the property had damage to it before the purchase and whether the property had damage to it after the purchase.

With the great response to Angry Homeowners I am following up with a post stating my amazement that agents would get so angry when one of their clients receive one of my direct mail letters!!

It is the responsibility of the administrator of the 401k plan to ensure those are issued.

Any damages that occurred other than wear and tear you are responsible for, weather it comes out of the deposit or you pay for it yourself. 

Overcoming self doubt manifested from negative responses of those around you (especially those you care about most) is a large part of discovering your path to success.
