Aidan,First I am sorry for your loss but sounds like he had a great family and two smart sons.

Let's just say the apartments weren't very nice and they were expensive.Flash to 2014 when my son went to college here in Colorado.  

Now that I finished building my house, my second baby was born in June and my other son started kindergarten I have time to write an almost weekly blog (every 10 days) on BP about Architecture + Development on my 40 minute bus ride to work.

Our son was recently diagnosed with a chronic condition that requires very expensive ongoing treatment.

I was also not willing to use the only other preferred property management company as the owner is the son of the developer who give no control to the owners.   

The gentleman that runs this with his son are genuinely fantastic people -- the father passed away unfortunately, genuine saint -- but his son and I are continuing to push things forward.It turns out the city here in Oakland is starting their plan review, so we're about 6 weeks away from permits, and we're likely 2 months away from panels delivered, so there is a bit of time before we have to execute on this project.
