As someone in the process of setting up a vacation rental, I'm trying to understand how net operating loss works with respect to whether or not the property is considered a "home".Let's say I put $15K into the house replacing the windows with lead paint in them in order to get the house ready to rent.

There had been many times prior when subway cars would sit in one spot for hours between stops on multiple occasions, due to 'police investigations' etc, often full of people including myself opening the mini windows trying to get some air in, as our breathing condensed on the glass and metallic surfaces all around.I do hope somehow the traffic control keeps up with Downtown LA's ongoing development into a megacity the likes of NYC.My hope was to move cross country for more space and higher quality of living despite both LA & NYC being such densely population areas.

I can't remember who here at BP was talking about getting properties via a back-up bid, but it worked out for me.I got a condo (built 2005) that needs very little (paint, laminate, carpet and replacement of a couple of fogged windows).

These are the little things that help sell a house and really transform it.We are hoping that the rest of the 1st floor rehab along with the outside work (siding, wrapping of windows in aluminum) will be done before the end of the month**After the rehab is complete we will be listing this property for sale.
