The third one had a husband who had bad health problems and was just down right nasty.

Ignore it as long as it doesn't cause a health hazard, attract pests, interfere with the neighbors, or cause damage to the home.Living like a slob is often a red flag of other issues like unpaid rent, loss of employment, drug/alcohol abuse, etc.
