Currently I have a wonderful job, but it won’t get me and my family to the lifestyle we desire fast enough.

5 years is a long term plan and a lot can change in that time, you could have a second child, a move, or even a significant job change or promotion. 

I did turnkey but I had some money from my engineering job.

My current plan is to start investing through house hacking while maintaining my job.

I also have access to Buildium through my PM, so I can see not only who has paid before those rents are kicked over to me, but I can see any repairs done during the month as well as as print out any P&L statements for each property.

Ouch ..And I remember why I need to do  stuff myself even if it’s not as nice a job  and takes a while .
