Hey Nigel great decision man, I too had the passion for real estate in my Early 20's but never got active, take advantage of the Atlanta market that is a market I am looking to invest in as well.

I currently work full time in tech, but my wife and I are very passionate about real estate investing and find that it's taking up most of our free time recently, mostly because we are excited about learning and eager to dive in more aggressively.

Over the past year I have passionately been trying to learn everything I can about Real Estate Investment; I have studied hard in college classes, followed multiple online mentors, I have read multiple books, read countless articles, watched several hours of YouTube videos, joined several FB pages to network on, and extensively studied everything on Biggerpockets.
