.- In theory you would have added the SAME ARV and potentially take home the same $40,000 Home Improvement Loan, which (being $40,000) should be enough to pay the LOC off that you used for capital for material and labour, as well as to pay yourself back for the down payment of the home.I’ve taken on the strategy of getting quotes for a few new windows, a new basement kitchen, and expanding the basement washroom, taking out the kitchen wall in the basement for an open concept with the living room, AND adding a 5 foot privacy fence in the back yard as well as adding gravel parking spaces from the back alley.The idea is gold, but I have a feeling that the Home Improvement Loan may only match what receipts/invoices I have for material bought and labour of the contractors.

I bought all materials.1 - 10'x6' shower remodeling (remove old bath tub, toilette and vanity) , replace door and vanity. install Vinyl with molding and paint 2- 19'x11' room: install vinyl, molding, replace closet door and room door paint3- 19'x13' room: install vinyl, molding, replace closet door and room door, paint4- Kitchen: 6'x10' patch walls, floor with vinyl, install cabinet, paint5- living and dinning room: 19' x 23', install vinyl , molding and paint I really appreciate your feedback.Thanks,

You can call it speculation but real estate goes up over time, almost a guarantee simple based on the cost of labor, materials, and the land it takes to make real estate happen.. not to mention, population growth.

You should not have to pay for someone that did this work to do it properlyDo not pay anyone in advance more than material cost plus something like 10% of work cost.
