Should I even mess with this money, or would it be in my best interest to leave it alone and let it grow?

Hi I'm new to real estate with a passion to learn and grow with this exciting venture.

I have had similar thoughts with doing that in the growing areas around me.

The biggest employer is HEB w/20K employees (groceries...people got to eat) and HEB rules in central TX and keeps getting stronger); USAA is a large nationwide financial services business HQ'd in SA, medical is another area growing.

Hi Ryan - You have some incredible experience and I can appreciate your desire to keep constantly learning and growing.

When venturing up or down (depending on your perspective) the rabbit hole that is RE, it's tough for a newbie like myself, I've discovered, to delineate b/w buying the home to grow old in vs. a property with an eye towards investing.  

I look forward to meeting other people who are new and determined so that we can all grow together and hopefully become friends in the process.
