I am talking about the United States as I have no experience in other countries that may operate very differently.In commercial you can buy wrong just like any other asset.

My company just rolled the only VA Renovation loan program in the country.  

My husband is active duty so we own property all over the country.

#1) Getting my feet wet...I was fortunate enough to find BiggerPockets about a year ago, and it has opened my eyes tremendously in that short time.In fact, it’s a constant source of sadness that I didn’t have this resource ten years ago. 

We have the highest combined tax burden in the country and property taxes are a huge part of that.

I'm a total newb though, so if that's even a possibility it's far down the road.I originally found Biggerpockets after going to a Fortune Builders "seminar" this past weekend.

I see PS as two markets one the Country club set..

We moved across the country and are finally getting a handle on the area here in the twin cities metro.  

In the New England area I am finding higher priced homes and/or land values compared to other areas of the country.

We also travel several times a year to blues dances and exchanges around the country.
