I think that renters are still looking to move for all the normal reasons and, on top of that, you've got a whole new market of apartment dwellers who are going nuts in quarantine and finding apartments are not the best for weathering a drawn out pandemic. 

"buy a fishing pole, and 5 years worth of bait and a handbook on "how to fish", so you can forever get more tuna".Wait wait wait... don't applaude yet... hold on.

@Rena Barron if your not tearing out dry wall to get to repairs or fishing new wires through and if your literally changing outlets, that is not a big deal at all.

Hi Eric, I have family in the Northern VA/DC area and with the announcement of Amazon, I can imagine that area is going nuts. 

I was just in Asheville fly fishing a few months ago!

That's real estate in a nut shell right now. 

Consider you'll have to furnish all 5 units (including stuff like kitchen supplies, linens, etc) - cover your nut with long-term leases, and see if STR is going to be worth the hassle and expense.

If they like the rivers, fishing, etc. the area south of Bend is unbeatable. 

There one will find stuff like rentability scores, rents, tenant and vacancy durations, PM scores, basically the insider nuts and bolts for that exact address historically.

I use the example of selling your fish, to buy worms, to go fishing.
