I was always spending money in the name of being a Realtor (MLS monthly fees, yard signs, clothes, meals, gas, websites, promotions, etc.) but very little was coming back so I decided not to renew my license.

I promote the concept of passive investing, because for most people, time is their most valuable asset.   

There is, we've found, a diversity in the kind of renters within the "student" category.  

That's a play out of the tried and true MLM lifestyle.... the successful ones make a huge chunk from promoting their success and offering to train/teach......for a fee.

With their diverse industry knowledge, they're already aware of emerging markets and the best properties.

I don't promote anything.

No investor is infallible, and what if the advice or strategies we are recommending/promoting have flaws or flat-out don't work any more?

The sell out neutered,establishment, wing of the Republican Party won’t sign on to anything unless their paymaster, donor class wants it promoted.

Taking out a $20 personal loan at 12% to payoff a $20 mortgage at 4.5% is not going to save any money...no calculators required.There are people who save mortgage interest using interest free periods from credit cards promotions but that's a different strategy.

The county (cities) need to promote ownership programs to stop the lack of "Pride of Ownership".
