If you wish to pursue this, it would be prudent to confirm that the administrator will treat it as a "loan offset" (rather than a deemed distribution).

Its a bit of administrative work, but caps my cost. 

I found out later the info sits in the "environmental office" and they don't always transmit the info to the central database.
