I bought a business from someone established in an S Corp, believing he's bullet proof, got a million in liability insurance, then he was sued for $3 million.

Now the surveying company says they won't consider the second revision until its 100% paid, and if I don't pay the final 25%  this week that they will send me to "Collections" and "have the survey cancelled".

How do you collect information on a neighborhood you know nothing about that's out of state?

That's 19 months and counting that housing providers are REQUIRED to work without compensation.And unemployment is at an all time high because it's more financially savvy for folks to stay home and collect the buffed up unemployment than it is to *gasp* re-enter the workforce and contribute back to society. 

Depending on how large the asset is, you may be competing with intuitional money: think insurance companies with huge piles of cash from collected premiums that needs to be invested.

Our lease does say, 'jointly and severally liable'...Would it be better for tenant #1 to sublet the 2nd bedroom and be responsible for collecting his half of the rent from the new tenant ?
