However, if your regular W-2 income meets or exceeds the Social Security level ($128,000) then there is no real benefit to the S-Corp over the LLC from purely a tax perspective?

I am not aware of any laws against having 2 kitchens in one dwelling unit (in fact, many very high end houses have a second kitchen for the staff to cook for social events).
