My family used to go to Carlsbad every summer.

Compare that to last year, where multi-units averaged only $185k in the same exact month (mid-summer when the market is always at it's yearly peak).  

I'm a teacher on summer vacation trying to learn as much as possible about but and hold real estate.

Finally pulled my head out, almost have all of my debts paid down to nothing (one car loan at $5,600 0%), no credit cards, ready to change my life focus to investments instead of consumption.My current position is that I'm now making about $110k, 29 years old, getting married next summer but i still have this monkey of a mobile home and acerage on my back that I'm not sure I'm above water on yet.

That 2k should be cleaned up by the end of the summer.

This is because all the young engineers want to live in the city, and if your startup isn't in SF, you essentially can't find young engineers (which means you're stuck paying about double for the ancient 30-50 year olds).I know a couple medium-sized startups (200-500 people) outside of SF that are forced to bring in 50-100 engineering summer interns each year, hoping to recruit a few of them after college. 

He works in rural Alaska & is gone for the rest of the summer.

Selling would be easy....but I've love to keep this one as it's in a hot summer tourist town and will rent for a weekly premium!  

hello everyone, the property I was hoping to convert was very close to an amusement part (Gost town in the sky) in Maggy Vally, NC that was supposably going to reopen this summer but have learned that instead it is for sale again.

Is it smart to have a house ready for summer for a potential buyer or buy it now and hope that the winter weather doesn't affect when the house could be sold?
