in all states one must apprentice as a sales agent before becoming a broker that can then go out on their own.. it varies from 2 to 3 years.and there are plently of low cost brokers on the west coast.. that just charge a modest transaction fee.if you go to work for a big shop like keller or remax or Entero your going to pay quite a bit.. and yo should be bringing in commission income..
