Select the ones you want to work with, then ask them for advice on what neighborhoods to target based on your criteria (money to invest, strategy, etc).  

@Blake Jackson make sure any PMC you interview agrees with your Class assessments, to avoid surprises.In our experience, the #1 mistake owners make when selecting a Property Management Company (PMC) is ASSUMING instead of CONFIRMING.It's often a case of not doing enough research, as they don't know what they don't know!

One thing I've seen on here which I think is a good idea is to ask them to select a "head of household" which you will do all of your dealings with.

That makes me question your ability to select young single female tenants.
