Does SSB have specific areas that they will only invest in or is it more statewide?

In Lincoln, RI I not only ran into an additional Fire Tax on the property but a Fire Tax on the vehicle AND a $100 per unit Sewer Tax.

Obviously depending on the specifics, which I am still waiting on a call back, is it worth taking a run down, disorganized property that isn't anywhere close to its potential and putting the time and money in to develop it into a nice community?

In the rental agreement it specifically states that is not allowed.

The other 3 charge around $700 a week for a nice room with 2 beds and access to a pool, weight room, and free breakfast.So I charge $400 for 2 bedroom places that are as nice as the $700 a week motel, but people can cook, do their laundry, have their wife visit, shoot a bow & arrow in the back yard, process a deer in the garage, work on their vehicle, etc.

For personal/professional reasons, we would prefer the public didn't know what specific stock we are investing in.Having said that, is it permissible/legal for my wife and I to create an LLC for the sole purpose of keeping our names private? 

It's extremely cheap for a duplex, and then combining that with just the look of it...my hunch is it's going to attract a very specific type of tenant, and one who could cost you a lot of money.

I know it isn't necessarily required, but it seems like a good vehicle to write up a clear strategy, divide ownership, and mitigate risk.I know an LLC can't purchase a property.

I was thinking along the lines of vehicle or equipment storage?
