Look for something a young professional would rent, or something with a small yard for a dog.Most markets, 3 bed 2 bath is a good place to start - affordable for most renters and plentiful, especially if there is room to add a half bath, there's room to grow. 

We also put TVs in all rooms, pool table in garage, portable AC units in garages, and grill and patio furniture in the back yards.
