I am willing to pay for their estimation services if that is what it takes to build a healthy/respectful relationship.Bottom line is that I have immediate needs, but would like recommendations for people in these areas that I could start building relationships with for my long term goals of diversifying into more real estate investments.* I also tried submitting the forms on the "Find a Contractor" page, but clicking next after the "Please tell us a little about your project." is not working.Thank you in advance for any responses!

The ones I respect are the few who understand the business of real estate from an investor's perspective.If becoming an investor yourself is one of your goals, I would encourage you to find a brokerage that is focused on serving investors, ideally one run by an experienced investor.Your broker can't teach you what they themselves don't know.I do have some suggestions, so connect with me here if you are interested in hearing them.

Treat people with respect and don't forget they are paying you the largest single expense they have every month.When I start to get jaded or loose sight of the above, I think about somebody I love, and remind myself to treat my tenants the way I would want that loved one treated in that situation.
