When you get calls, meet them at the job, ask how long it will take to complete, if you trust them, let him start but watch that he is doing right.There are lots of folks looking for part time work to earn extra money (cash).Alternative you can go to Home Depot 6 am and talk to those folks picking up material for their job.Good luck.

I don't foresee any push back considering I am the president of the HOA. 2) Obtain official plans / drawings to extend steal balcony3) Us plans and apply for Chicago Setback approval4) Build steal extension to roof deck when approved4) Obtain official plans / materials and apply for building permit for deck build out.

my take on it is.. there is no way with materials labor and land and regulation in MOST markets to build new construction work force housing.

This complex has one non-operable unit (used to work) and since i bought it, it has been only a storage room for my materials, etc. generating no income.I am debating between turning this unit (~450sqft) into a studio, rent it as storage to one or two tenants, or a laundry room?
