In my experience, the policies, procedures, and processes of how sec8 is utilized and administered is managed by the specific municipality, and the case workers assigned to a specific case. 

I'm in the process of educating myself and want to know if there is a good way to practice running the numbers and evaluating properties.

My question is what are some of the pitfalls or concerns I should have with this process. 

Rather than going through the RMD process, I'm considering just taking a full distribution of several properties I have in an SDIRA. 

My thought process thus far has been to buy safe and smart so a good looking property I buy now isn't easily put into the red once the market turns and rent drops.For example, I aim for $150+ cash flow / month (SF currently).

I can tell you many families that live in northern Illinois are either in the process or discussing moving over the border to Wisconsin.

I'd love to learn how the process goes for you.
