I just rewired a fairly small 3-bedroom 1-story home, charged $21,000 and when all the tallying was done the cost for wire, metal flex, new light fixtures, 200-amp distribution panel, permits, carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, plaster and stucco patching holes, sales commission, labor and overhead was about $15,000 leaving me with a $6,000 profit (30%).

In terms of TV mounts, I recommend the previous advice about making your wishes clearly known to your tenants about you require that they coordinate the installation through your handyman or a trusted professional handyman, and they will leave the mount and all its pieces upon departure or properly patch the spots (usually requires repainting the whole wall).

Hi David,Now they have curtains up, and are Class C--maybe they will stay for 15 years.Forever renters have to rent somewhere.Class C renters and their visitors tend to be hard on the units anyway.Drunken fist punched holes in the walls, broken things, knobs missing, screens missing (???)
