Having purchased several 100+ year old buildings, I can assure you two layers of lath-and-plaster may keep the wind out (or at least reduce it to a light breeze), but it certainly does not keep the heat in.

Its great having one large one that will hold a large pot.I find build.com and amazon.com to be good sources for anything more than the most basic in kitchen and bath fixtures.

I received no call....A week later another threatening letter is placed on the door saying someone will be out on dates given and again threatening to change the locks to the units. 2 weeks later a maintenance guy comes out and changes a light bulb.
