Attend your local REI meetups to build up a strong network and feel free to reach out and connect with everyone in the community and find a mentor doing what you want to do. 

Hey @Dan Fendius, I think definitely talk with a lender to figure out your monthly, but honestly, do what is going to feel most comfortable and helps you take action quicker.

While my current job, which I was promoted to six months ago, pays well, I still feel like I'm not achieving financial freedom or enough time for myself.  

Essentially, house hacking with me not being there.I know that house hacking is the recommended start but, I live comfortably on my parents' property in a nice location.

Given that the property is located in a C/C+ neighborhood with a tenant pool that may not be the best, and with many neighbors owning pets, I'm debating whether to replace the carpet with LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) flooring from the outset.I have a cat, and while he's generally well-behaved, there's a chance he might pee on the carpet if he feels threatened by other animals (read: if the other animal is inside the same living space as him).

Hello BP community I have been trying to save some money up from working 2 jobs the last couple years and I finally feel like I am in a secure enough spot to try to get into either wholesaling or flipping.

I am looking to get more into the mortgage note business but feel if I can buy properties at a huge discount the create my own notes I would be better off then buying someone else’s note. 

We feel stuck right now on what the "right" thing to do is in finding the balance between cash flow and equity when house hacking.
