The water leaking from the cracks will be found by any plants, trees especially.But, even if these problems exist a good roto-rootering will clear them up.  

But it certainly is NOT a scam in the sense that the material is 'wrong' or 'fake', but I would definitely question some of the statements they make in their marketing efforts.

Sadly,I think you will find a lot of wholesalers use fake POF letters they get from their hard money lender buddies.Most desperate homeowners don't know any better and accept it at face value without investigating the validity of the letter.

The lease was negotiated in 2008 and we had limited negotiating power due to another site already up and running that was on a pole (fake looking tree) in a commercial shopping center down the street.

Doesn't pertain to any of my rentals, but I once got scammed by a fake ticket seller.
