Hello everyone,I'm considering purchasing a triplex with the following unit mix:2 apartments for short-term rental (STR)1 apartment for long-term rental (LTR)Questions Does this mixed-use property (80% STR, 20% LTR) still qualify for the short-term rental tax loophole?

I wonder how they chose properties.

My goal is to become an investor of multifamily properties.

If not, how is it an advantage to buy with low rents if the property is being valued based on comps? 

However, despite of myself being natural from there I have my doubts about financing a commercial property and finding the right partner.

I have heard so many things... 1 property per LLC or 10 properties per LLC etc... one LLC per state...Looking for advice from investors already using LLCs for rental properties.

I already have a renter for the investment property home and once ADU complete will rent that ADU.  

So, the sellers were informed as to what needed to be taken care of.
