I have been told that you shouldn't flip houses with a C Corp, but with an S Corp or an LLC Holding Company.

I am planning on setting up a corporation and hopefully buy my first property.I am planning on buying either an apartment/small house,or a two story house which I can split into two different units.Anyways right now I am just reading as much REI books as I can,watching DIY videos and cruising BP (which has been a goldmine of information!).

You need to get sellers to like you and want to do business with you, not with a 'big, faceless corporation' (at least that's t way you'll spin it).We are one of those big companies (OK - more like medium-sized) and we just had a seller back out of a contract.
